Chapter 1: A Tree's Journey

The Beginning was only Darkness and Dirt. All I could do was Yawn and Stretch, through the walls of my Seed Casing, out into the unknown Darkness of Neverending Soil, in all directions hoping to find something, anything, anyone. My first Connection was to the Root Network. There were other Seeds Yawning and Stretching, who had found each other and kept growing with each others’ support. At first, I didn’t know if I was Welcome, but we all kept growing together and searching for….something.
